On the hunt for the occupants of a helicopter that had been shot down in war-torn Costa Bravo, this soldier becomes wounded when a tree falls on his leg. While looking for Ambassador Morehouse and his wife Judith at the "Vector 4 Depot", Jaime Sommers hears the wounded soldier's cry for help. Jaime and her helicopter pilot, Jack Starkey, free the soldier from the fallen tree and administer a pain killer before continuing their own search.
